Volunteer Shift Change Requests
If you are unable to fulfill a volunteer shift that you are currently signed up for and there are no open shifts in the volunteer sign-up then you will need to find another Firefish family to switch volunteer shifts with. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Visit the Firethorne Firefish Facebook page and click on the "Volunteer Shift Swap" pinned post found at the top.

2. Follow the instructions within the pinned post and comment within post which shift you are trying to swap. Coordinate with another family through the post which two shifts you would like to switch.
3. Once they new arrangement has been made and agreed on between both parties, the volunteers currently assigned to the shifts will each need to individually complete the Firethorne Firefish Volunteer Shift Change Request Form (see link below)

4. Once both forms have been submitted and ALL information on the form matches, the volunteer coordinator will switch the shifts within the signup and email both families to notify them that the change has been completed.
Once the volunteer shifts have been swapped, each party is responsible for knowing the start time for their new shifts. If the volunteer assigned shows up late or no-shows for their new shift, then they will be subject to forfeiture of their volunteer deposit as stated in the volunteer policy.
