Refund Policy

The 2026 refund policy is as follows:

  • A FULL REFUND will be given to any family who withdraws from the swim team prior to the first day of practice. 
  • If a family withdraws from the swim team within the first two weeks of practice, registration fees (excluding the cost of the shirt and Whale fee/insurance) will be refunded. 
  • If a family withdraws from the swim team after the two-week period but before the Practice Swim Meet, then the $250 volunteer hold will NOT be charged. They will not be refunded any registration fees and the family will still be able to register the following summer as a “new swimmer.”
  • If a family withdraws from the swim team after the Practice meet but before the first swim meet of the season, then they will not receive the registration dues and the $250 volunteer hold will be charged. If the family chooses to return to the swim team the following summer, they will be able to register as a “new swimmer.”
  • If a family withdraws from the swim team any time after the first swim meet, then they will not be refunded any registration fees, the volunteer hold will be charged, and the family will be unable to return to the swim team for the next two (2) years.

All withdrawals and refund requests MUST be made by completing the Firethorne Firefish Withdrawal form (https://forms.gle/djN3RPMZam8xGk7B7). Once this form has been submitted, the board will process your request.
